The study aims to explore how the expansion of global AI/ML technologies, influenced by global economic agendas, is impacting Brazil’s educational landscape and labour markets. Drawing on qualitative research with data scientists and software engineers, the project investigates their educational pathways, career trajectories, and professional aspirations within the context of Brazil’s AI/ML evolving technological and sociotechnical landscape.
