My PhD research focuses on applying machine learning and advanced feature engineering to enhance player performance and team strategy in sports. Using data from wearable GPS sensors, I develop automated methods to detect key game events and extract meaningful spatiotemporal features. Beyond data transformation, my work leverages machine learning models to analyze and predict player behaviors, optimize team dynamics, and improve strategic decision-making. By combining data-driven insights with advanced analytics, my research aims to revolutionize performance evaluation and tactical planning in sports.
